Meet the panel: Matt Paice
Matt Paice, business partner to chef Joké Bakare and front of house lead for the Michelin starred Chishuru will be on the panel for The State of It: Hospitality Special.
Chishuru has held a Michelin star since February 2024, and is a regular in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100.
Matt Paice, business partner to chef Joké Bakare and front of house lead, will be joining us on the panel for The State of It: Hospitality Special.
Matt spent years in television as a channel controller, commissioning editor and executive producer before becoming a chef by accident.
He ran a street food business that grew into two casual dining restaurants in west London, and after they closed, worked as operations director for a group of Italian restaurants in the City of London.
He became Joké’s business partner in June 2021.
Outside the restaurant, Matt holds two wine qualifications, and he’s currently building Rooik, his own all-in-one software platform for restaurants.
